Tyler Lemmon

Tyler Lemmon’s (2020) work uses familiar faces and figures to address themes of humor and satire. Lemmon created Trump related coloring books and had his mother distribute them amongst her students, allowing the children the creative freedom to color as they chose. Lemmon blew up the finished piece into an oversized cartoon, offsetting it with the blank Trump portrait to create an unsettling diptych that invites the viewer to decide which face they chose.
