Phil Weasley

Phil Weasley’s (2020) work deals with the base human need for touch, as well as intimacy and affection in the queer experience. Their sculptural forms are intended for viewer interaction in the gallery, created with the tactile experience in mind. Weasley’s forms evoke feelings of repulsion and desire in the viewer, interrogating what it means to touch an object in public we may otherwise reach out and caress only when no one else is looking.
