Marian Lerner

Marian Lerner’s large- scale installation “Cosm” speaks to concepts such as identity, labor, and transformation. Lerner gathers and deconstructs the material that goes into her work by combining her shredded former paintings with accumulated branches picked up during walks with her daughter. Lerner’s work creates an intuitive system of rhythm and meditation that the viewer is invited to experience.
